Wedding Beauty Preparation Timeline - Wedding Week!

THE WEEK IS HERE, well almost!!! I obviously have to send this preparation guide before the week since you need time to schedule appointments! It’s so wild that the months just flew by. Hopefully everything is all in place and this week you’re able to use it as a relaxing week and maybe just some small to dos —nothing serious. Not to worry though, we still got you covered for beauty tips for the wedding week.

BROW WAX:
If you’re planning to get your brows cleaned up, be sure to do it at minimum 4 days before the wedding. If you potentially get burned by the wax this will allow time for your skin to heal. Putting make up on fresh skin is not ideal since nothing will stick -so allow yourself some buffer time. If you want to book an appointment with Lisa (LHNBEAUTY owner), you can call 763-656-1524 to book an appointment!

SPRAY TAN:
Schedule an appointment to do this 3 days before the wedding day. Your spray tan will look best after having some time to settle into the skin to look the most natural. Some places we would recommend are The Glow Lounge, or Go Glow!

MANI / PEDI:
For these services, I would get them done like 2 days before the wedding day. Places I would recommend are: Manis by Mari, Paint Wayzata, Beaute Contour Nail Lounge, and Little Luxuries Nail Lounge.

The above sums up the services to look into if you’re planning to get anything done. Below is your checklist of things to be aware of leading into the wedding day!

  • WATER, WATER, WATER!!! We can’t tell you how much water helps your skin, the whites of your eyes, and your overall mood for the day!

  • Lots of sleep! Ironically a sleep mask has been a game changer. We personally use this one, but anything will work!

  • Definitely use a deep conditioner the week of your wedding for beautiful hair. Like I’ve mentioned before, the Wella Hair Mask is the absolute best!

  • Using a sheet mask the week of your wedding will also be helpful. Adding some extra hydration to your skin so your skin will be nice and plump for makeup. The hydration will also prevent your makeup from looking “cakey.” Our personal favorite is this Just Glow With It mask by Patchology!

  • Exfoliate those lips for the perfect lipstick base and kissable lips! Try to do it at least 3x before the wedding (but honestly the night before will be okay too!) We personally love the Tree Hut Sugarlips scrub. Once you wipe it off, top it with the Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask to seal in that hydration!

Overall, don’t get super stressed out. All of these things are fun self-care things you can do for yourself. It’s amazing how much you will feel more at east for the day when you do small things for yourself. Cheers to the wedding week and breathe -you’re getting married!!!
