The Farm at Fairhill | Wedding

Britta and Sam’s beautiful Farm at Fairhill wedding is on the blog tonight! Britta and Sam are one of hundreds of couples that planned a wedding during a pandemic. When they met at Iowa State and got engaged on a beautiful beach in California, they never imagined they were going to face a pandemic on top of the normal stress that comes with planning a wedding!

When I look back at Britta and Sam’s wedding at The Farm on Fairhill, I remembered all the changes that had to be made leading up to the day. We had to change locations from the Solar Arts Building to The Farm at Fairhill, add people for services (because they decided they wanted hair and makeup done last minute), take out people for services (because they can no longer make it to the day), adjust the timeline (with the venue change, came with a new ceremony time, and traveling to a farther location). The list goes on. It was certainly stressful for myself, making sure I have all the details right, but I can’t imagine what type of stress Britta was going through!

I suppose that is what happens when you plan a wedding during a pandemic, but honestly when you work with vendors that are organized and are staying on top of communication - there is nothing we can’t help you with! So if you’re reading this and are nervous about moving forward with your wedding plans, don’t be. Your vendors have your back and will help guide you every step of the way. For Britta and Sam, the day definitely was worth it, judging by the beautiful photos. Enjoy some of my favorites from their Farm at Fairhill wedding.

Thank you for having us a part of your day, as always we are so grateful.
